Could提问肯定回答和否定回答应该用什么

1.could是情态动词can的过去式，在提出建议或表示请求的疑问句中，用could比用can语气更加委婉，肯定回答可以是Sure./OK./Certainly.否定回答是No, thanks.举例说明，Could I have some water？Sure. Could I help you？No, thanks. 

2.当could用于一般过去时的一般疑问句时，肯定回答是Yes, 主语+could.否定回答是No, 主语+couldn't.举例说明，Could he speak English two years ago？Yes, he could./ No, he couldn't.

使用助动词的问句，在肯定回答时通常可直接使用该助动词could，否定回答使用其否定式couldn't；但由于 could 可以表示现在，所以，应根据实际情况改用其原型：Could you help me out?Yes, I can.No, I can't.当然，也可使用别的回答方式，就上例而言，肯定回答可以用：Of course, I will. 或 Certainly, This is my honor. 等等否定回答可以用：I'm so sorry, dear, I'm busy like a bee at present. 或 I just have tight time (in/for doing sth). 等等
