onthetree和inthetree的意思

in the tree和on the tree译成汉语都是：“在树上”，但所表示的含义不同：

（1）in the tree：指外界的事物在树上，而非树木自身生长，无法附着在表面。

【例句】：There are some birds in the tree.

有一些鸟(落)在树上。

（2）on the tree：指树自身所有，长在树上的东西，覆盖着树的表面。

【例句】：There are many big, red apples on the tree.

on：表示“在物体的表面上”，只能用on的表达方式有on the next morning，on the following。
