peer和peek的区别

peer:

n. 同等地位的人，同龄人；贵族

v. 凝视，盯着看；隐现；看见；匹配

I peered at the operation manual of the machine.

我仔细看了一下这台机器的使用说明书。

This young man strives to peer the laws of the world.

peek:

v. 窥视，偷看；微微露出，探出

n. 偷看；一瞥，看一眼；（计算机）读取数据
