remember的基本意思是“记得”，即凭记忆而对某人或某事留有深刻印象。当接人作宾语时，常常转义为“给……送钱〔礼物〕”以表示酬谢礼仪等。remember既可用作不及物动词，也可用作及物动词。用作及物动词时，可接名词、代词、动词不定式、动名词、that从句或以疑问词引导的动词不定式及从句作宾语。
