1.Traditional stories make use of formulaic expressions like ‘ Once upon a time …’.传统故事采用“从前…”一类的套语。

2.She's the editor of a new collection of ghost stories.她编了一部新版鬼故事集。

story转为复数形式时，遵循y-i+es规则。也就是以y结尾的单词，将y改成i，然后加es。但此规则不能用于重读闭音节y结尾的单词，如boy，复数应该是boys，toy为toys
