Bhutan is a mountainous country. In addition to the main vein of the Himalayas, there are many branches in its territory. Most of these branches are north-south, with high terrain in the north and low terrain in the south.

Most of the northern ends of the mountains are more than 5000 ~ 7000 meters above sea level, and are above the snow line all year round.

Bhutan is high in the north and low in the South; The southern mountainous area has a subtropical climate, wet and rainy, with an annual precipitation of 5000 ~ 6000 mm.

In the middle valley area, the climate is mild, and the annual precipitation is 760 ~ 2000 mm; The altitude is 180 ~ 7550m. All rivers in Bhutan flow from north to south, mainly including amuqu River, Wangqu River and Moqu river.
